I received this recently and it seems to work very well. I also used it on a 2nd degree burn after reaching into the oven to retrieve a baking dish. It soothes and protects the burn spot and so far it is healing nicely. Thank you!

I’m so happy I found a topical treatment for my c-section scar and stretch marks that came along with my pregnancy. I love that this is organic and a little really does go along way. Plus it’s not messy at all. Stays on my body and not on my clothes.
This is my second baby to use the c mama salve. And I LOVED it. Recommended it to countless mothers. BUT I just ordered and received the new version which is now called the scar balm. I do not like it. It’s thicker, so thick that it can be painful/difficult to rub onto a tender c scar. And let’s faceit that whole area stays tender for months. Still seems to aid in healing like before though.
I love Earth Mama products in my home for my family. I have used the Skin and Scar balm for my family but, here is the really cool thing...not only is it awesome for our scrapes and cuts, it is fantastic in the barn! I had brought some out for my rabunctious young stallion who is forever getting mysterious scrapes and cuts. The Skin and Scar balm not only heals him up fast but creates a barrier and the hair seems to grow back faster. I also have a very sensitive mare who is wickedly allergic to a tiny no-seeum gnat. She gets little itchy scabs on her belly from them. Since I started using this balm on her tummy, her scabs have completely healed and it creates a barrier that seems to keep them away. Plus she has had no allergic reaction to the balm like she has to other methods. I am completely sold on this product and it is an essential part of both my barn and home medicine cabinet!
This salve is amazing! My midwife recommended it after my HBAC. It helped my incision heal quickly! It seemed to heal and fade a lot faster than my first cs. It was also good for my mental healing, letting me “do something” to help.
I've been using it for this whole 1st year postpartum and my scar has faded significantly!
This stuff is the bomb! My son fell on a metal spike, face first at 15 months (right after learning to walk) thankfully, his eye and vision are fine but he had a big scar and five stitches right above his eye. We used this cream and now his scar is barely noticeable 9 months later! I used it on my c section scar too and you can barely tell it's there! This stuff is unreal!
I completely love this stuff! After an unexpected c-section, and coming home with my amazing twins, I used this salve and my c-section scar is practically invisible!!!
The salve reduced my stretch marks significantly and has helped my C-section scar although I don't think that it'll ever go away completely. I'd definitely recommend the healing balm/salve!!
I just had my fifth c-section. With my last c-section I had a ton of scar tissue along about 1.5" of my incision site that wouldn't allow the cut to close. After having it cauterized (which is super fun by the way), and treating it with a slew of doctor prescribed "remedies" it finally started to heal and stay closed after about six weeks. So, with this pregnancy I was on scar watch ultrasounds and my doctor told me to anticipate the worst for healing time afterword. I brought the C-Mama with me to the hospital and started slathering it on within a few hours of delivery. I got a few raised eyebrows from the nurses that checked my incision and a couple of disapproving hmmm's from my doctor, but by the next afternoon my incision already looked weeks old. I had more than one nurse comment that they had never seen anything like it, and a midwife from my doctors office said that before delivery I had been the talk of the office (as in "this stupid woman is having yet another c-section. Can't wait to see what a disaster it turns out to be") and that she wanted me to rub their noses in the fact that I was healing faster than any patient they've ever seen! I'm just mad at myself for not finding this product six babies ago! My best advice to anyone having a section, whether it is your first or your fifth, invest in a good sturdy abdominal binder and a jar of C-Mama. Bonus: my little guy has had a hideous diaper rash for over a week now. We've put everything from triple paste to lotramin on it to no avail. I decided last night to try the c-mama, and by this morning the rash was almost completely gone.
