Earth Mama’s Clean Beauty Routine

If you’re already using Earth Mama products on your baby, then it’s probably no surprise that they can also be safely used as part of your own clean beauty routine. Perhaps you’ve been looking to switch to safer skincare. Or you’ve been looking to add some clean make-up to your existing routine.
Well, hold onto your make-up sponges! We’re about to show you a clean beauty routine using Earth Mama favorites, some or all of which you might already have in your home.
And if you’re looking to see these safer skincare products in action, we’ve even got a handy video that you can watch and follow along.
Earth Mama’s 5-Step Clean Beauty Routine
- Wash your face. It’s absolutely safe to use Earth Mama Castile Wash (just watch your eyes - this is not a "no tear" formula) as a face wash. The shea butter makes this castile soap much more moisturizing than most. However, if your skin is on the dryer side, we recommend using Calendula Baby Oil as a cleanser. You simply wipe your face off with a warm washcloth, rub some baby oil all over, then wipe the baby oil off. The end.
- Depuff and tone. This one might surprise you a little, but a few spritzes of Herbal Perineal Spray will act as a safer depuffer and toner. And a pro tip for you ladies of a certain age, it's not a bad idea to keep a bottle at your bedside or on your desk for those unwelcome hot flashes.
- Moisturize. For those of you with dry skin, Organic Baby Face Nose & Cheek Balm or Organic All Over Balm works wonders. You can also use Calendula Baby Oil, especially at night. But if you happen to have oily skin, we’d recommend Simply Non-Scents Baby Lotion, which is a truly unscented formula.
- Don’t forget your lips! Pucker up with some Earth Mama Lip Balm. Simple enough, right?
- Finish with SPF. Earth Mama’s Lady Face Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Stick (or Tinted Mineral Sunscreen Lotion) gives you sunscreen protection without a white cast.
And… that’s it! A simple skincare routine using products you’ve know and trust for your babies and kids. Turns out, you deserve the very best ingredients too, mamas.
