mint worsens heartburn

"i really hate leaving negative reviews and this is not a reflection on the company or the taste of the tea. that said, i cannot for the life of me understand why mint is used in a tea that aims to help heartburn. it is well known that menthol actually worsens heartburn. this recipe should be changed or the product should be renamed. do a little research and you will see plenty of information on mint and heartburn"

"I've had heartburn for nearly 20 years and was tired of using over the counter medications. This tea stops the heartburn immediately, almost like an antacid. I'm surprised because usually peppermint worsens my heartburn. I like to drink this warm (not hot like I drink most teas) just for personal preference. I have yet to try this before bed but I'm optimistic it'll help with the nighttime heartburn, too!"
